Loveable scarecrow is mounted on an antique/vintage beehive bobbin that is secured to a base so he is sure not be carried away by crows in the field. all of his clothes are made from painted and stained osnaburg. Except for his hat which is made from muslin and been put through several steps to get a leather like look. His hat is secured to his head by good ole fashion hand stitchen' .His nose is stitched to his face and stained to look like a piece of leather, he has separate stitched on eyelids with hand drawn eyes and his mouth is stitched. He has stained twine secured around his wrists, his waist hat and around his hood. He even features a "hole" in his shirt with raffia sticking out. P HG 54 - $12.50 Qty:
Drab Black Gal With Necklace Pattern comes complete with detailed instructions a color photo and pattern pieces to make this drab gal. Made from stained and painted muslin. She measures in at 23 inches. Her eyes are stitched as well has mouth. Her nose has been needle sculpted. She has Roving needle felted into place. Her bodice has been painted, she has on 2 skirts. Constance and Ginger Named after My husbands' mother and her Doxie Dachshund Ginger. have made Constance to look like an antique doll. She is made from stained osnaburg. She features separate wired fingers. So life like and loving to hold Ginger tightly. Constance features "chunky" arms and legs that have been jointed. Her dress is "dropped waist" with hand stitched osnaburg for the trim around the collar, belt and cuffs. Her blooms are osnaburg as well with coordinating homespun as the trim. Constance has hair that has been "sculpted" then painted. Her nose is sculpted, mouth is stitched and eyes hand drawn. Last but not least she has a bow stitched to her head that completes the outfit. She measures in at a very healthy 28 inches. Perfect for a antique youth chair! Now, lets not forget Ginger! A cute lil' doxie made out of painted and stained osnaburg. Pilgrim Make-do With Corn on Pumpkin There is TONS of detail in this piece and would make a lovely center piece. The pattern comes with 2 color photos and complete instructions. Everything is painted just about! I will start with Measurements. He Measures in at a very healthy 28 inches from the top of his hat to the bottom of the pumpkin. The pumpkin is stuffed firmly and sectioned. It has been painted and grubbied up. There is 3 separate wired leaves and moss that adorns the opening. An antique/vintage bobbin is securely positioned on the inside and that is where our pilgrim stands gratefully. In one hand he holds 2 ears of corn made from osnaburg and painted (complete with "corn silk" aka flax hair. In the other hand is a wired pennant that reads "Be Ye Thankful" All of his clothes have been painted even the collar and cuffs. He has hand drawn eyes, stitched mouth and needle sculpted nose. HARVEST Crow & Pumpkin Doll Makes Do There is TONS of detail in this piece! The pattern consists of six 11 x 17 pieces of paper and four 8 1/2 by 11. You will also get 2 pictures. Instructions for all pieces even the pumpkin clay bucket. sewing and making of primitive doll experience is helpful! His lips and eyes are hand drawn, nose sculpted. A lot of detail in this piece! Let's start with the measurements. From stitched on hat to bottom of pumpkin, the measurement will approximately 29 inches. This dapper primitive pumpkin man is flying over the pumpkin patch Wishing everyone harvest Blessings. The pumpkin base on the bottom looks great with its sectioned sides. With in the pumpkin is the antique/vintage beehive bobbin. At the base of the pumpkin and bobbin I have added 3 pumpkin Leaves" each leaf has been wired and painted. Uncle Sam and Libby Make Do You will get Uncle Sam and Libby pattern pieces and their clothing. For Libby I have include instructions for you to make the little Sam she holds. Drowsy Witch in Moon Doll This is really an impressive size piece, From bottom of wood base to the very tippy top it is 29 inches and from side to side 18 inches. She has just curled her body right into the moon and fits there perfectly! She is securely stitched onto the moon. The moon is distressed painted and aged muslin attached to a sturdy stick that is mounted on a wood board and accented with moss. Her dress is a "crepe" type of fabric that is very wrinkled and suits her just great, Her pants are made from the same fabric as well. I have fringed her sleeves and the bottom of her pant legs. Her painted striped legs just dangle off each side of the moon. Her boots are separate and stitched on. They are made out of distressed painted aged muslin. I do believe this Witch was once a gorgeous woman back in the day, look at her rosy cheeks and colorful eyes (the color is showing up brighter in the pictures then what it is in person) and her lips are drawn on. Her hair is long and flowing aged flax, all stitched on. I really think she takes a lot of pride in her do. comes with 2 colored photos and detailed instructions. Turkey Pattern This turkey is just awesome and sure to get a lot of compliments when you use a centerpiece on your harvest table. the measurements are about 15 inches tall and 14 inches in length, you will need a small bobbin/spool for this project. Naked Cupid Angel Beloved, If God so loved us, We ought to love one another; 1 John 4:11 I am just so smitten with this angelic creature! Made from painted and distressed osnaburg the Cupid measures in at 23 inches. All of his body parts are separate and stitched on including the very round belly. Each wing is hand sewn on. Made from distressed painted osnaburg and needle sculpted. The hands are needle sculpted and wired to the hands is a painted osnaburg heart just in the right place to cover his nakedness up. Lady Liberty and Donkey This is Lady Liberty rides a Donkey. Comes with detailed pattern pieces, with instructions and 2 pictures. Her torch is made out of Paperclay. Her measurements when completed are about 25 inches high (when lady Liberty sits on the donkey) and 17 inches long. I do not recommend this pattern for beginners.
