Dolls made using our products:

This is a pirate doll I made for my son for Christmas. She is
from a pattern by Mary Tressler but it is paperclay. The hair
is Tibetan lambs wool that I got from you that was white for
Santa's, but I dyed it dark brown for the pirate girl. She
has lots of hair.

Hello,
I bought some raw wool a while back (I should be ordering more
soon), and I finally got the chance to use it. It's just so
wonderful, I think it's what makes the dolls special. Here are
a couple of pictures of my dolls and your wool. Thanks for the
wonderful quality. Have a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New
Year

BEarWILDERED BEARS by Merilyn
I just finished this yesterday. One of the best
value patterns I have bought. I learn a lot of tips from
it. Now its not easy BUT that is what I wanted. I
hope she makes more for the advanced sewer. I had not
heard of her until I seen her patterns on your site. Some
patterns are just not worth the money you buy one and
then after that they are all the same just a different
take on the one thing. This annoys me. The witches dress I use
100% Irish linen that I have a good bit off. Its a loose
weave and just worked so well. I also use your gift of
the rusty pins. I didn't make bloomers for her. I love
her bare legs and knees showing (No modesty) !!! If you have not used this pattern do take a look
at it. Thanks again for having a wonderful site.
The
flying Santa I gave him a Star and didn't give him the
little Annie. I did make her but found she looked too
big on him. His bag looks better than in the pic. One
thing I found with Mica flakes was that I put some in a
food blender and made them finer. I like the effect
better.
So that has been keeping me busy LOL

The Snowman was done in WARM&Natural. I used the glass
glitter on his star. He was easy to make but a lot of
stuffing!!

I came up with this doll entirely on my
own. She's about 16" tall including her hat.

Thought you might enjoy
seeing some of the places my dolls go to. I send them to
Logoi.org Ministries where they get packaged into Pastor's
Care Packages for countries in South America. I work
everyday on them.

My
friend Carolyn (she has been a friend since we were little
girls) is in the blue t-shirt wearing antlers. The others
are Logoi Ministries office workers from various countries

"Sessho-maru" from the anime series "Iny-Yasha.
The kimono and obi are hand painted with the camellia pattern typical of some noble families in the late Sengoko-Jida period of feudal Japan (circa 1500-1560)
|

This doll/softscuplture is based on a popular Japanese anime character named Inu-Yasha. He's a lovable juvenile delinquent who is half-human, half-demon. (See tips from this doll maker in our Tips & Techniques page)
|

This fellow is "Kouga," and he's Prince of the Western wolf demons. (Not as glamorous as it sounds ...) This project gave me a chance to work with leather and fake fur on the costume. No critters were hurt during the
construction of this doll, except for the artist's poked fingers!
